Welcome to Goratu Manufacturers of Machine Tools
Goratu are a Company with over 70 years of machine tool experience located close to San Sebastian in Northern Spain With more than 180 employees, we are one of the largest Spanish machine tool builders with an extensive worldwide sales and service presence.
The Goratu Group was created 7 years ago and joined together three historical machine tool companies:
- Geminis
- Lagun
- Ladarasa
The Group is now a single company but retaining the long established trade names of LAGUN and GEMINIS having three plants, The main Head Quarters, Technological Centre and Assembly Plant are situated in Elgoibar where the Geminis Lathes and the Lagun Bed Mills are manufactured The Conventional machines are manufactured and assembled in nearby Vitoria
The new range of Goratu high technology CNC machinery fulfils months of forward planning and market research to provide tomorrow’s machine tools requirements today. Emphasis is given to provide the optimum machine capacity while containing the machine footprint enabling maximum production from limited expensive factory floor space.
